OUR TEAM

LifeBridge Church exists to help you discover your purpose in Christ.

We believe our loving God created you uniquely in order to achieve a special purpose. Together, we discover our uncommon purposes through experiencing God's presence, learning to know Him intimately and serving the people He puts into our sphere of influence.

God wants to do great things in and through our lives as we worship, learn, and serve together. Your loved ones, friends and neighbors will want to experience the love of Jesus Christ when they see Him demonstrated through your life of faith.

LifeBridge Church is a revitalization project through the Assemblies of God established in May, 2015. Pastor Scott and Dorothy love the Mount Pleasant and Charleston communities and are passionate about reaching people for Christ and teaching the enduring and powerful truth of God's Word revealed in the inspired and inerrant scriptures.

  • Pastor scott & dorothy hanson

Pastor Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BSBA in Economics and International Business. He worked in banking and finance for more than seventeen years before entering into full-time ministry. He attended Bible school at Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK. and has continued his studies through Berean School of the Bible, the distance learning program of the Assemblies of God.

WHY WE EXIST:

TO help you discover your purpose in christ

Experience God. Develop Faith. Serve Others.

God has placed within our hearts a passion for people, our city and our world.

We consider it our privilege and desire to serve you.

We are prepared to walk with you and your family through your victories and defeats,

your joys and sorrows.

We intentionally create opportunities for the development of your spiritual gifts and calling in life.

We recognize many and varied needs in the community around us

and are working to equip faithful people prepared to meet those needs.

Our mission comes from the book of Ephesians in the Bible - "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."

Ephesians 3:19 NLT

what we believe

connected to help people

We are a church that believes in living with a mission - a mission to help people first in our community and then, as God gives us opportunities, around the world. We believe in helping to meet practical needs but always with a focus on what is most important - leading men, women, and children to eternal security through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We are believers working together and encouraging one another to know Jesus and serve Him faithfully in order to reveal His love at home, in church, in our workplaces, and in public spaces.

  • We connect locally

We have been created to live in community, not in isolation. Yet technology has enabled us to isolate and insulate ourselves from unwelcome intrusions and fearful situations. Then when distress and need arise, we may find ourselves with no one to whom we can turn for help and hope. Living in community affords us the opportunity to more wholly experience God through close relationships as we play and pray together, as we encourage and help one another, and as we study and live out God’s word together.

  • WE care for people around the world

We tangibly express God’s love for humanity through service projects, mission trips and supporting full-time missionaries. Join us as we extend our mission beyond our walls and share the love of Jesus in our local and global communities.

Our purpose and prayer is to impact nations by equipping believers to "go and make disciples of all nations." Matthew 28:19

Online Giving

God influences the world through His people. He gives to us so He can give through us. The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14). As you give both faithfully and willingly, the world is changed for the glory of God: the gospel is preached, lives are touched, people are fed, bodies are healed, churches are built; and you, in turn, are blessed by God so that you can be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).

Your gift to LifeBridge is tax-deductible and will be used entirely to further what God is doing

through our ministry locally and around the world.

If you have questions about how we use your donations, please don't hesitate to contact us.
